A 3-hour tour departing from the Cuvu base twice daily 9.30 am and 1.30 pm.
Guests arrive 30 minutes prior to departure time and have a short safety briefing and history of the sugar cane industry and the base building being the old FSC locomotive shed. The guests are then fitted with helmets and the bicycle seats are adjusted to their correct heights for maximum comfort before heading out 11.4kms along tramline with some stops for points of historical and photographic interest.
On the way the guests cross over railways bridges, go through rainforests, mangroves, big rock cuttings, through fields and villages. There are lots of animals and friendly locals along the way.
On arriving at the beautiful deserted Vunabua Beach guests can swim and snorkel or chill out on the blow-up couches while they are served 3 types of locally grown fruits, a brown coconut and a green coconut drink along with cold bottled water. One hour is spent at the beach then back on the velocipedes and back to base, the viewing riding back is different as the guests are looking up the coast.
